Star Wars NewsIndiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal SkullThis year at ShoWest, we got the rare opportunity to chat with George Lucas about his upcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars theatrical release. It's a project he seems quite enthusiastic about. And hopeful. He truly believes that it will restore faith in certain longtime audience members who have maybe given up on that particular franchise. Even if it doesn't, he really doesn't seem to care either way, though. Why? "It's not that you can't please everyone. It's that you can't please anyone. I learned that long ago." That, and he knows he has another, bigger problem to worry about this summer. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. He's already built an imaginary bomb shelter over his head. Because he knows people aren't going to like it by default. The Force unleashes Darth Vader When Darth Vader showed up as “the banker” on NBC’s “Deal or No Deal,” you could hear the groans among the “Star Wars” fan community. Maybe this will make up for that egregious sellout: In the upcoming game “The Force Unleashed,” for PS3 and Xbox 360, Vader will be a playable character for the opening level. The main thrust of the game’s narrative has Vader training an apprentice. But project leader Haden Blackman says the opener has Vader on a mission to hunt down a Jedi on the planet Kashyyyk. Harrison Ford As Indiana Jones Headlines Summer Action Movies Harrison Ford was much younger the last time he played action hero Indiana Jones. The role is once again Ford's, and little has changed in his enthusiasm for the part. Indiana Jones will be headlining a summer filled with action movie releases. Princess Leia hints at Han Solo affair The actress - who is best known for her role as Princess Leia in three Star Wars movies - has suggested she got very close to Ford while they were filming the sci-fi trilogy, after decades of rumours. Appearing on forthcoming British TV show Bring back ... Star Wars, she said: "I went on the film saying, 'I'm going to have an affair', like it was a kiwi, an exotic fruit - because I had never had one."
